News : Decision making

The most crucial issue about EVERYTHING is decision making process!
Decision making takes place online as it will be
a)visible (with clear deadlines)
b)correct (otherwise very hard to calculate it all on paper)
c)flexible (people are moving around and can still be a part of the process)

Decision making:
1 stake= 1 vote + extra (calculated with the participation currency converted into stake with an agreed rate 1€= 10 points e.g.)
Example: 1 stake + 0,4 (200 participation points)=1,4 voices
Should they be seasonal?

How to make a decision about the roof garden, for example?
Yes, lets do it - but who is gonna make it?
Decision making will not be binary process and it should have different levels of commitment: Yes, I am gonna work my ass off…or…Not a great idea, but I am willing to help out etc.

Re: seasonal stakes: it makes sense that if the vote is about something specific to that season, then it would only be stakeholders for that season who should get to vote. Stakes bought in past seasons (if we are lucky enough to make it to a second four-month season!) should probably depreciate in some way.

This will all become complicated but if we can have the software just calculate it all, it's easy. We also have to take into consideration the fact that this will be a hassle if there are too many decisions to weigh in on; remember, this place is supposed to be an outlet and support for our creative practices, which we are already busy with.

And this is sounding a bit similar to the concept of DEMOCRACY, which is certainly a struggling concept lately. (or maybe it's more a PLUTOCRACY we are defining here, even worse)
